Oleksandr Shymko -
contemporary ukranian composer and pianist.
Was born on the 4th of August in 1977 , in Borshev
(Ternopil region, Ukraine). In 1997 graduated from the Chernivtsi musical college named by S. Vorobkevich,
piano.In 2002 graduated from the National Music
Academy of Ukraine named by P. I. Tchaikovsky and
received master's degree of Musical Arts (specialty composition).
Author of more than a hundred musical compositions, among them:
five symphonies: (2006, 2009, 2010, 2013, 2014),
five concertos: two piano concertos (2002, 2009),
violin concerto (2012),
concerto for violin and viola (2014) ,
Cello concerto (2016)
Cantatas and Oratorias
many works for chamber orchestra,
chamber ensembles,
author of music for over 22 performances.

Cooperates with many famous artists
and musical ensembles. Regular participant of
contemporary music festivals in Ukraine and abroad.
